"This is a great company to deal with. There are videos online that explain what their products are meant for so you know you’re getting what you need. It made ordering the right scooter very simple. Make sure you read the terms and conditions, as info about shipping to Canada is in there. Customer service is top notch! We got our scooter from Denmark to Canada in just over a week’s time. I was able to track my order the entire way. When it arrived, it was as easy as tightening 2 bolts and my son was riding it. He says it is a really smooth ride, the best scooter he has ever had. First of all, really sorry to hear that it was not clear enough beforehand that if you needed to return an item to us, that the costs will be for you as a customer. We know that overseas shipping can be quite costly, therefore, we have made a good agreement with UPS to offer a return label to our customers for $19,95. The price for this label is way cheaper compared to the local post offices in the US. We would still love to help you out to see if we can improve our size guide for you to possibly have chosen the right size directly from the start. We can also do something about the costs for the return label, we will figure that out together. "The initial experience was great, order shipped decently fast too. However, I was unaware it was international, but that's OK... Until you have a return request. It's just not even worth bothering as they require you to pay for shipping. Don't believe the 1 yr return window thing... That's seems to be there because they know no one is going to spend the large shipping fee to return items. Also the shirt sizing is very weird, I wouldn't bother even trying as it's a gamble if it will fit or not, which after looking at the reviews seems to definitely be the case." | |

FedEx corresponded some time ago to inform us that they have been late sending out invoices for the import taxes to all of our Canadian customers. :( The estimation of what you have to pay in import taxes when ordering from us to Canada is always mentioned in our checkout. We can very much understand the surprise, since most of these invoices are coming quite late. If you have returned your parcel back to us, you still have to make sure that you pay these import taxes. You can apply for a refund at the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). You can always try to get in touch with FedEx, to see if you can reject the invoice due to the orders return to SkatePro. We, unfortunately, cannot reject or remove invoices for our customers. It has to be sorted out with the local authorities. In any case, we are trying to assist our customers in the best way possible. "For spending just over 106$ on parts then for the day they are supposed to arrive I get an email saying that shipping will be 52$ and if I don’t pick it up from a location an over an hour away from my house that it will be sent back to the shipper after 10 days but by the time it’s got here I now have 4 days to drive over an hour to pay 52$ to have had something I thought would have been shipped from Canada hence the .ca in the website... never ordering again. "Be prepared for customers charges that were approx 70% the cost of the products purchased. I didn't get the charges right away either . We purchased 2 seperate orders at the end of Dec and recieved the customs bills April 3. The serves at SkatePro is excellent . The products were great and the price prior to customs was fair . When I ordered my items I specifically looked for Canadian companies SkatePro.ca I assumed had a Canadian Warehouse. There is very little warning that I would be charged more than half the item in charges . Buyer Beware!" | |

"I placed one order in January received the skis in February. I used this pair of skis only twice, as you can see from the pictures here attached, the upper layer of the skis has already fallen off. This is super abnormal since I have been using all kinds of skis for more than 10 years, different brands like atomic, Rossignol, K2,Volkl etc, I never have this issue .The skis might rust, sometimes gets scratches, but there has never been such a phenomenon of peeling on the upper surface. You could also check for my order , this was only one order received within 2 weeks, I used only twice, the customer service is not effiencinet at all. I wasted my money of nearly 1000 dollars. Great that you have been contacting us when having a suspicion that something is wrong with a product that you did buy from us. When reviewing the case and processing all the information from you, we came to the conclusion that it didn't contain a product failure but something that has happened while using the skis. While skiing it might be possible that due to certain circumstances the skis are hitting each other, when that happens, the steel edges can damage the upper layer of the skis as has happened with yours. "So I was happy to see the blades I wanted were on sale! Best price around for the Macroblade 110 3wd was Skate pro. $50 cheaper then next best price! Ok, there was a 20 dollar FED EX delivery charge but if I ordered on a Monday the blades would arrive by that Friday. Well that Friday passed and then another. No response from skate pro other than your blades are in transit. "Skatepro is a great supplier, even though it’s EU based. I’m a US customer and i’ve spent a descent amount of time browsing US scooter suppliers, and none of them compare to Skatepro. They have completes, they have custom parts, and the Scooter Builder helps riders figure out which pieces are compatible. My biggest complaint with skatepro is lacking instructions for beginners. Luckily y’all have a youtube channel and that helped a lot when getting the feel for building the scooter correctly. Additionally, for US customers expect 2 and 1/2 to 3 weeks for each delivery, but that’s just the nature of overseas shipping." | |

"I'm NOT happy with the service. I thought I was buying a product sold in Canada until I was hit with a duty charge 4 months later. Your Toronto phone number and Canadian web address are misleading and your Denmark address which I told about only by calling the number to inquire about the new charges is hidden on your website. Had I know it was not coming from Canada I would not have bought them. I feel I've been deceived by your company and I'm sure this has happened to many people before. We have written in the checkout an estimation of what our Canadian customers are paying in duties. I'm sorry that it wasn't visible enough. The reason why we have a Canadian number and everything in Canadian dollars is to make it as easy as possible for our Canadian customers, without any charges to calling to Europe.
